About ME

I provide a dog walking & home boarding service in Heavitree, Exeter along with my husband Jordan & senior French Bulldog, Gizmo.

Up until March 2021 I worked at the RD&E hospital as a registered nurse and progressed to Sister in the later years of my career. 

At the start of 2021 with the support from friends and family, I made my dream a reality -  bringing my true passions of dogs and the outdoors together. And so The Delighted Dog was born!

So why choose The Delighted Dog? 

I thoroughly enjoy finding those unique off the beaten track places where the pack can roam free away from traffic and cycle paths. I make sure I don't repeat any of the walk locations in a week to provide your dog with as much variety as possible.

Your dog will be safe and sound with me knowing that I have a Diploma in both dog psychology & dog walking and a certified canine first aider. 

And the best thing - Is our pack! We'll allow no more than 6 dogs on any walk. Making sure they all have their own crate in the van,  become firm friends in small groups & enjoy the wide variety of walks Exeter & it's surrounding areas have to offer.

I also ensure dogs are returned home as clean & dry as possible, the van has a portable shower, plenty of clean towels & we're never without fox poo shampoo!!
